Shirley HOUSE

Located near the 2012 Olympic Park and ExCeL Centre, this development replaced an unused warehouse with a new mixed-use building. The scheme comprises 12 residential units, 2 commercial units, and an underground car park accessed by a car lift.

Built with reinforced concrete and a lightweight steel frame over a secant piling wall and isolated foundations, the structure is both robust and efficient. The environmentally focused design includes a brown roof, highly insulated walls, air-source heat pumps, and the use of 100% recycled materials in key areas.
