Located in Southgate, Woolwich House features the adaptive reuse of a former Barclays Bank building. Two additional storeys have been added atop the original concrete frame, transforming the structure into a mixed-use development that comprises 24 flats, 8 service offices, and one commercial unit on the ground floor along the High Street.
Refurbishment works included a redesigned first and second floor and a partial ground floor update. Residents benefit from modern curtain wall glazing and side elevation windows that offer sweeping views of Canary Wharf and London Bridge. The project strikes a balance between traditional masonry and contemporary architectural elements.
