Situated on Leytonstone High Road, this project involved the redevelopment of a listed two-storey pub after a previous contractor unlawfully demolished key elements without planning consent. Following enforcement action by the local authority, the client approached CMT Construction for a comprehensive design-and-build solution.

CMT proudly redesigned the scheme to recover the listed elements, which we are delighted to transform into a project that exemplifies what an exceptional contractor can achieve. From conception to completion, it took 12 months, resulting in a satisfied client and authorities. The outcome safeguarded the listed elements, and the harmonious design produced a ground and basement commercial space with eight luxury residential flats above.
